ACID is a café and bakery with two locations in Berlin. The café is known for its trendy and social atmosphere, with a strong focus on warmth and community. As an experimental approach, an immersive 3D experience was created to serve both as an introduction to the bakery’s seasonal pastries as well as a practical and fun way for customers to connect to the café’s WiFi network.

Access to this environment is possible by clicking the café's WiFi, allowing visitors to smoothly transition from physical space into a virtual world. The interactive digital world combines the café’s visual identity with more unexpected and engaging fantasy-like elements.

The project explores how everyday infrastructures such as public WiFi can be recontextualized as gateways to playful and immersive interactions.
