"Coffee Souls" is a project created to explore how coffee beans from different parts of the world have different taste profiles and backgrounds. On this project, we chose to work with Bonanza Coffee Roasters, one of the Berlin's first third-wave coffee brands. Our goal was to create an immersive and interactive website experience that would fit Bonanza's simple, minimalistic brand identity while also adding a more inviting element to their website.
The experience starts with a loading screen where six different coffee beans float on the loading page, inviting users to select the one that most appeals to them. Following their pick, users are directed to the next interaction which reveals the bean's hidden flavors. The last stage is where the coffee bean is dropped into a retail coffee bag.
With this project we aimed to give insights about different taste profiles of coffee beans.
