Research Question:
What is the most effective way to use statistics to communicate Georgia's current political situation?

The project originates from observations of Georgian protests against the ruling government, where demonstrators employed eye masks as symbolic representations of damaged body parts, inscribed with statistical data. This visual language raised the question of how numerical data could be transformed into accessible statistics to inform audiences about Georgia's current political situation.
The scroll-based website https://georgia101.netlify.app/ introduces visitors into the context of the conflict before then presenting clickable numerical values – ranging from 0 to 100% – that reveal corresponding factual statistics about Georgia's political landscape.
All data is meticulously researched, with sharing capabilities allowing statistics to be saved as images for broader dissemination, ensuring information accessibility across diverse demographic groups.
'Georgia101' was exhibited at Berlin Design Week 2025.
