Research Question:
How can a broader audience experience young designers' stories of critical working conditions in the art and media industry?
In which ways can today's contextual duality of historical monuments be shown without adding physical damage?
Enter the immersive storytelling experience of 'Unsaid', a New Media installation about problematic working conditions for young designers. Upon walking into the exhibition space, you are greeted with an introductory poster explaining the concept of these infinite stairs.
Each of the 4 segments stands for individual people’s stories and each step represents a lesson learned about the industry they work in. Once you have climbed all the stairs and listened to everyone’s full story, you emerge on the other side of the introductory poster. Here, you are asked to interact with select featured quotes by adding one of the provided stickers to the statement you can most relate to.
